He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland J. Schiller and Marie Schiller Sr.; his stepparent Esse Schiller; and his brother Joseph Schiller (Fran). He is survived by: his wife Marylyn Schiller; his sons, Steve and Matthew Schiller; and his brother Edmond Schiller (Marie). He is also survived by grandfather, uncle, great uncle, great great uncle, cousin, and his friends and family.

Memorial donations in Roland's Honor may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Arnold, Humane Society of Missouri, St. Louis Zoo or to Stray Rescue.
