He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry L. Thorne and Margaret A. Brown Thorne; and his grandparents, Herbert, Iva Thorne, Leonard and Orpha Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Thorne of Imperial; his children, Maria Thorne of O'Fallon, Travis Thorne of Imperial, Justin Thorne (Jessica) of Festus and Amber Thorne of Imperial; and his siblings, Yvonne Garland (Shane) of Perryville, Chris Hardy (Shannon) of Jackson and Steve Thorne of Jackson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 aunts and uncles; 6 nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
