He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil R. Snead Sr. and Anna Snead; and his siblings, Virgil Jr., Jeanette, Gertie, Vera and Ollie.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly G. Snead of Imperial Missouri; his daughters, Lisa Snead of Hillsboro Missouri, Dawne Harris (Herb) of Herculaneum Missouri and Jodi Snead of Barnhart Missouri; and his grandchildren, Nicole Zaehringer of Hillsboro Missouri, Tessa Zaehringer of Hillsboro Missouri, Harlee Harris of Herculaneum Missouri, Kaysee Harris of Herculaneum Missouri and Daniel Snead of Barnhart Missouri.
