Edith left this world on November 12, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Toppins and Mildred Ethel Long Toppins; her grandson Michael Adams; her husband Clifford Hopkins; and her siblings, Marvin, Norman, Thomas, William, Hollis "Ott" (George Toppins), Norma Weatherholt and Merrill "Maxine" Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Terry Adams (Donna) of Des Arc and Diana Blankenship (Jeff) of Imperial, MO; her sister Stella Faye Griggs of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Todd, Bryan, Dwayne, Brooke, Danielle, Robert and Brandon; and her great grandchildren, Michael, Zachary, Madison, Avery, Griffin, Connor, Samantha, Chance, Klaire, Nic, Kayelyn, Kallie and Chase.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cole Family Funeral Home (210 E Reynolds St, Ironton, MO 63650). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
