He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Anderson and Eda Anderson; his wife Kathleen E. Anderson; and his sister Doris Burger. He is survived by: his children, David C. Anderson II, George Anderson (Jennifer) and Linda Hutson (Greg); his grandchildren, Joshua Anderson, Lacey Hutson, Ashlie Hutson, Griffen Anderson and Riley Anderson; his great grandchildren, Owen, Oliver, Joshua Jr. and Olivia Anderson; and his sister Rosalind Harton.

“In loving memory. Big Dave was so good to all of us kids who grew up with David, George and Linda. From him taking a cannon ball to the stomach as a Marine to always teasing around with all of us, For all I know, he could have been teasing when he told me about the cannon ball to the stomach. I doubt it though. He was a tough but funny and loving man who I will always remember. I have nothing but respect and love for him! Sending my love and support to his kids, my buddies for life. Laura”
