He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Thompson and Violet Thompson; and his siblings, Coy H. Thompson, Charles Thompson, Dexter "Ray" Thompson, Vera Jean Poyner, Sharon "Kay" Carter, Leta Joyce Thompson and Jerry Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Thompson; his children, Betty Ann Charney (Kevin) and Bobby Lee Thompson Jr. (Terry); his grandchildren, Jennifer Ferris (Dan), Dawn Charney, Justin Thompson and Joseph Thompson; his great grandchildren, Paige Ferris, Maya Ferris, Lexi Miller and Ryker Miller; and his siblings, James Thompson, Jimmy Dale Thompson, Larry Thompson, Delia Brown, Drew Thompson and Charles Ray Thompson.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
