He was predeceased by: his wife Donna C. Velasco; his great grandchild Wyatt Robinette; his brother Henry Velasco (Donna); and his parents, Anthony Velasco and Diane Velasco.

He is survived by: his children, Bart Velasco (Denise Fischer), Craig Velasco (Michelle) and Stacy Rose (Eric); his grandchildren, Taryn Robinette (Josh), Zachary Velasco, Kayla Velasco, Tony Jones (Jackeline Rodriguez), Aaron Jones (Lexi), Brittanie Velasco (James Pyatt) and Grant Shepherd (Zyanne); his great grandchildren, Nora Grace Jones, Lyla Mae Pyatt, Odin Durso, Lyra Shepherd, Braiden Rodriguez, Hunter Hall, Mayson Robinette and Cole Robinette; and his siblings, Tony Velasco (Sheila), Diane Howard, Richard Velasco (Peggy), Ronald Velasco (Carolyn) and Jim Velasco (Mary).
