She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Willard Kelsay and Velva Lacy Kelsay (Forrester); her husband James Mote; and her brothers, John Kelsay and Samuel Kelsay.
She is survived by: her sons, Sherrill Mote (Vicki) of Iberia, Dewayne Mote (Kathy) of Iberia, Lyndon Mote (Cindy) of Iberia and Glen Mote (Wynnette) of Iberia; her grandchildren, Ilana Morgan, Josiah Mote, Isaac Mote, Seth Mote, Rachel Mote, Heather Mote, Austin Mote and Brianna Mote; and her sister Joyce Jarrett of Iberia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
