He was predeceased by: his parents, Spurgeon Shelton and Clarice Shelton (Waite); his former wife Lena Shackelford; his wife Iva Lee Hancock; and his sisters, Juanita McDowell and Martha Helen Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Shelton of Iberia and Yolanda Graham (Larry) of Jefferson City; his stepson Don Hancock of Texas; his grandchildren, Shane, Shawn, Amber and Dalton; and his siblings, Maureen Stamper of Linn Creek, Mary Smuder of Belton and Larry Shelton of Peculiar. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
