He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Willis and Virgina Cawthon (Young); and his siblings, Carl Aubrey Cawthon, Roy Willis Cawthon Jr., John Arlen Cawthon and Donna Marritt (Cawthon) of Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Rene Cawthon; his daughter Jamie Estelle Cawthon-Pyke of Iberia; his son-in-law Guy Pyke; and his sisters, Myrtle Audry Reid (Cawthon) of Houston and Vessie Allison Cawthon of Muskogee, Oklahoma. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
