With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Marie (Zeigenbein) Cochran of Iberia, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Zeigenbein and Dora Zeigenbein (Carver); her husband Buster Cochran; her granddaughter Natasha Ponder (Neuman); and her siblings, Eavlyn Poucher, Georgia Powell, Ruth Walters, Peggy Wilson, Eddie Zeigenbein and John Zeigenbein.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Renee Black and Starla Kay Schulte (Richard); her grandchildren, Maria Miller (Harold), Jami Harris (Shean), Quentin Neuman (Casey), Justine Schulte, Brandon Schulte (Amber), Dana Scheppers (Brian) and Erica Brown (Evan); her great grandchildren, Joshua, Ethan, Avery, Cora, Ashlyn, Olivia, Gus, Benton, Madison, Macaily, Sydney and Emma; and her siblings, Clarence Zeigenbein (Brenda), Jim Zeigenbein, Ted Zeigenbein, Janie Lee (Chris) and Rosie Taylor (Bill). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home (2247 MO-17, Iberia, MO 65486). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Union Cemetery.
