He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Holtmeyer and Hedwig Bertha Holtmeyer (Herx); his siblings, Victor Holtmeyer (Margaret), James Holtmeyer (Nancy), Alvis Holtmeyer (Marilyn), Ignatius "Stub" Holtmeyer (Dolores), Ralph Holtmeyer and Margaret Buechter (George); and his siblings-in-law, Freda Holtmeyer, Viola Holtmeyer, Veronica Holtmeyer and Larry Bock.
He is survived by: his wife Rosetta Holtmeyer; his children, Jacqueline Wankum (Jerry) of Meta, Patricia Lehmen (Randy) of Osage Bend, Jason Holtmeyer (Stacy) of Tebbetts, Pamela Cotten (Samuel) of Eldon, Jessica Cox (Aaron) of Cassville and Patrick Holtmeyer (Katalin) of Iberia; his grandchildren, Tyler Wankum (Olivia), Alicia Wankum (Matt Kliethermes), Brittany Kremer (Henry), Brenden Harris, Breanna Holtmeyer, Aryelle Holtmeyer, Izabella Holtmeyer, Lucas Holtmeyer, Isaiah Holtmeyer, Roselyn Holtmeyer, Sabastion Holtmeyer, Daniel Cotten, Victoria Hettich (Sam), Laura Witt (Tim), Nathanael Cotten (Alexis), Kendra Cotten, Madalyn Cotten, Jacob Cotten, Annabeth Cotten, Emma Cox and Weston Holtmeyer; his great grandchildren, Abigail and Jonathan Hettich; and his siblings, Raymond Holtmeyer of Pennsylvania, Harold Holtmeyer of St. Anthony, Danny Holtmeyer of St. Anthony, Roman Holtmeyer (Virginia) of Meta and Marcella Bock of Meta.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Anthony Hall. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (132 Main St, Iberia, MO 65486).
