It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edwin Pigg Sr. of Hurdland, Missouri, born in Newtown, Missouri, who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wilford and Anna Mae Church Pigg; his son Eddy Jr.; and his siblings, Jay, Wayne, Leroy, Jim, Mike Pigg, Barbara Pigg, Ruth Turnbough and Mary Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Glenna Crossgrove Leavitt of Hurdland, MO; his children, Randy Thompson (Stacey) and Dana Dungan (Ronny); his daughters-in-law, Rita Briggs (Eddie) and Wendy Pigg; his siblings, Gary Pigg of Old Monroe, MO, Kay Fowler of Purdin, MO and Margaret Baxter (Cliff); his brother-in-law Tommy Chapman of Milan, MO; and also, Tani Buchanan (Robert) of Oskaloosa, IA and Mori Leavitt (Liz). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
