With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Mae Stephens of Hunnewell, Missouri, born in East Prairie, Missouri, who passed away on January 7, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Landon and Janet Cannon (Stockman); her husband Floyd Bennie Stephens; and her siblings, Harold Cannon, Bob Cannon and Juanita Yount.
She is survived by: her children, Dianna Mitchell (Frank) of Hunnewell, MO, John Stephens of Little River, SC and Glen Stephens of Loris, SC; her stepdaughter Mary "Em" Beals of Concrete, WA; and her grandchildren, Erin Gill of Shelbina, MO, Jason Mitchell of Shelbina, MO, Anthony Stephens of Camarillo, CA, Justin Pratt of St. Jacobs, IL and Christina Goodman of Wood River, IL. She is also survived by two step-granddaughter in WA; and several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and lots of nieces and nephews.
