He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Utterback and Areleta Laynelle Burditt Utterback; his daughter Linda Lake Bichsel; his brother Wayne Utterback; and his brothers-in-law, John Kerr and Robert Stevens.
He is survived by: his children, Aaron Utterback (Melissa) of Monroe City, MO, Andy Ray Utterback (Heather) of Monroe City, MO, Erica Utterback of Columbia, MO, Laura Lake Allen of Hunnewell, MO and Matthew Lake (Erica) of Hunnewell, MO; his siblings, Jim Utterback (Marge) of Mars Hill, NC, John Utterback (Bev) of Chicago, IL, David Utterback (Mary) of Cincinnati, OH, Greg Utterback (Jane) of Columbia, IL, Anne Carman of St. Louis, MO, Jean Kerr of San Diego, CA and Bettie McClintic (Robert "Wheel"); his son-in-law Mike Bischel of Monroe City; his grandchildren, Dominic, Landon, Aaden, Noraa, Ashlyn, Josh, Joey, Tayler, Rachael, Jordon, Natalie, Audrey, Camae, Abbi and Dixie; and his great grandchild Charlee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James O'Donnell Life Celebration Home (545 Stoddard St, Monroe City, MO 63456). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home (545 Stoddard St, Monroe City, MO 63456).
Memorial contributions may be made to the General Vet Clinic in the care of Dr. Otto to assist in pet adoptions, neuters, and spays.
