In loving memory of Richard L. Nelson of Hume, Missouri, born in Underwood, Iowa, who departed this world on June 13, 2024 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Nelson Sr. and Betty Ruth "Pate" Nelson; his wives, Darlene Ester "Bice" Nelson and Betty Jo "Scrogham" Nelson; his daughter Debbie Nelson; his son-in-law Darrell; his grandchildren, Stefanie, Mia and Addison; his brothers, Herbert Jr., Donnie and Bobby; and his brother-in-law Mel.

He is survived by: his children, Delesa Hicks (Jack) of Calhoun, Randy Nelson (Shana) of Hume and Darla Nelson Smith of Hume, Missouri; his grandchildren, Allison Nelson of Hume, Andy Hicks (Shelby) of Clinton and Samantha Nelson of Hume; his great grandchild Haisley of Clinton, Missouri; his siblings, Duane Nelson (Jan) of Hermitage and Cathy (Kenny) of Bulverde; and his sisters-in-law, Marie of Osceola, Barbra of Higbee and Helen of Council Bluff, Iowa. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews and other family members as well as friends.
