Marvin Shelton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2024, at the age of 92, Marvin Shelton of Hume, Missouri, born in Fort Scott, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Marvin departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Marvin may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marvin leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Shelton and Jessie Shelton (Shackleford); his wife Fae; his daughter Beth Clines; and his siblings, Jim Shelton and Betty Graham.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Shelton (Becky) of Gulf Shores, AL, Tom Shelton of Stotesbury, MO and Dave Shelton of Stotesbury, MO. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in his memory to East Liberty Cemetery in c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
