He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Jefferson Kimes and Celia Em Taylor Kimes; his wife Jeanette Carol Hembree; his son Marcus Hembree Kimes; and his siblings, T. J., Ruthie and Norine.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Kimes (Cathy), Vicki Kimes, Pamela Miller (Stuart), Jeff Kimes, Julia Nelson (Mark) and Amy Stewart (Joe); his grandchildren, Bobby, Sarah Kimes, Alisha Flanagan (Ryan), Devin Kimes (Katherine), Nicholas Kimes (Allison), Christopher Kimes (Suzanna), Major Stuart Miller (Madison), Emily Kimes (Paige), Lyndsey Dunn (Craig), Bryan Nelson (Samantha), Jimmy Stewart and Weston Stewart (Stella); and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Joey Kimes, Kaitlin Rathbun, Arabella Flanagan, Grace Ann, Emma, Maddy Kimes, Ainsley, Brenna Kimes, Wyatt, Lucy Miller, Josey and Lyla Dunn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home - Humansville (109 E Buffalo St, Humansville, MO 65674). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Humansville Cemetery (800 S Bolivar Rd, Humansville, MO 65674).
