She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobart Smith and Margaret Smith; her sons, Floyd, Ellis and Donald; her husband Carl Hestand; and her daughter Sharon Wilson Hestand.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Grimes, Mary Fuller, Bettye Hancock, Carol Hestand and Dennis Hestand. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 11 great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
