He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Callis and Mary Callis (Boyer); his wife JoAnn (Benson); his daughter Shelley Jungen of Springfield; his stepchildren, Tamra Crouch of Warrensburg, Teri Moore of Boonville, Susan Holmes of Tomball, TX, Carolyn Dawley of Spanish Fort, AL, Jerald "Eric" Pendell of Kansas City, Roger Austin of Hughesville and Bret Austin of Edinboro, PA; and his siblings, Richard Callis of Winchester, VA, Linda Semler of Sedalia and Rebecca Mixson of Aiken, SC.. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
