She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Higgins and Loretta Higgins (Cashman); and her siblings, Joseph Copsey Higgins, Susan Ryan, Dorothy Stockhurst and Mary Ann Higgins.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph E. "Bunny" Houchen; her son David Houchen (Janet) of Bucyrus, KS; and her grandchildren, Clayton, Carlie, Claire, Carson Houchen and Crista Houchen Bosley (Brent).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Houstonia Cemetery Association or First United Methodist Church of Sedalia.
