He was predeceased by: his parents, John Staton and Virginia Constance Staton (Wallace); and his siblings, John Staton and Oleta "Cricket" Wilson. He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Staton (Donna) of Sedalia and John Staton (Paula) of Houstonia; his grandchildren, Jimmy Staton (Ashley), Amanda Weller (Doug), John "Jay" Staton (Kayleen) and Zackary Staton; and his sisters, Carol Johnson (Buck) of Higginsville and Debbie Smith (Buddy) of Nashville, TN.. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
