He was predeceased by: his wife Etta Fern Page; and his sister Ruby Baker. He is survived by: his daughter Peggy Lea Nelson (David) of Blackburn; his grandchildren, Steven Nelson (Rebecca) of Blackburn and Christina Mackesty (Douglas) of Grain Valley; and his sisters, Dorothy Dawson of Houstonia and Lulubelle Underwood of Houstonia. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
