With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Georgia Allene Reid of Houstonia, Missouri, born in Arcola, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Deck Hughes and Dora Mae Hughes (Whitley); her husband William T. Reid; her son Donald Reid; and her siblings, James H. Hughes and Edna M. Chambers McCumber.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Reid (Mary Beth) of Houstonia and David Reid (Diane) of Higginsville, MO; her daughter-in-law Sherry Reid of Houstonia, MO; her sisters, Belva Jones (Barkley) of Stockton, MO and Barbara Leonard of Milo, MO; and her grandchildren, Shawn Reid (Carrie), Kristin Martin (Kevin), Andrea Kirkpatrick (Evan), Emily Twenter (Derek), Megan Madsen (Thad) and Adam Reid (Kelsey). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Houstonia Cemetery Association in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
