He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Cole and Hazel Irene Fisher Cole; his siblings, Fern Marie Overy, Wilferd, Lester and Glen Cole; and his great great grandchild Brynlee Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Cole of Houston, MO; his brother LeRoy Cole of Houston, MO; his sister-in-law Glenna Cole of Jefferson City, MO; his sons, Bobby Cole (Teresa) of Raymondville, MO, Eddie Cole (Janet) of Houston, MO and Reggie Cole (Jan) of Houston, MO; and his grandchildren, Stacey (Kevin Silveus), Brad (Sunni Cole), Tara (Leon Caselman), Brison (Sarah Cole), Travis (Kristen Cole), Casey (Isaac Olvera) and Rowdy (Tina Carson). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to OakHill Church Cemetery, in memory of Vernon and left at Evans Funeral Home.
