It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Jane Harrah (Houston, Missouri), who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minta Jane Morton (Sticklin) and Bert C. Morton; her siblings, Gracie Mae Uber, Fern Dunham (Harrah), Ervin, Ray and Jay Dee; and her grandson Christopher A. Harrah.
She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Harrah (Rick); and her sons, Richard A. Harrah (Xiomara) of Miami, FL, Michael D. Harrah (Kathy) of Rocky Mount, MO, Paul J. Harrah (Dana) of Rolla, MO and Steven M. Harrah of Rolla, MO.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and their families, 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
