He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Kessler and Cleo Kessler (Clanton); his niece Shelli Kessler; and his mother-in-law Marla Stephenson. He is survived by: his daughter Bella Kessler; his wife Erica Kessler; his son Nicholas Schoen (Serenna); and his brothers, Art Kessler (Pam) and David Kessler (Jennifer). He is also survived by Five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations in Steve's honor be made to Shriners Childrens Hospital.
