He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Long and Henrietta Margaret Tarpley (Geleski); his son Kyle Tarpley; and his daughter-in-law Rhonda Tarpley. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Glen Tarpley of Houston, MO and Cheryl Strom (Matthew) of Licking, MO; his grandchildren, Alexandra Caldwell, Sarah Tarpley, Danielle Rosenthal, Jason Tarpley and Jamie Lynn; and his great grandchild Abigail Pytynia.
