It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leon Darvin Haney in Houston, Missouri, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Haney and Anna Haney (Kirkwood); his spouse Sammye Latham; his son Darvin; and his siblings, Robert Haney, Vivian Davenport and Wanda Floyd.
He is survived by: his daughter Gwen Montgomery (Joe); his granddaughter Ashlee Clifton (Jonathan); and his brother Harold Haney (Delores) of Arnold, MO. He is also survived by his grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evans Funeral Home (224 S Grand Ave, Houston, MO 65483). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (8540 Hwy E, Houston, MO 65483).
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Leon to the Oak Hill Cemetery.
