She was predeceased by: her mother Mattie (Fortenberry); her siblings, Linda and John; and her husband Dale Gettys. She is survived by: her children, Jayme Gettys (Krystal) of St. Robert, MO, David Taylor (Rochelle) of Kansas City, MO, Sheri Wade (Shane) of Houston, MO and Erin Abney (Glen) of Houston, MO; and her siblings, Shelia Milton (Mike) of McCrory, AR, Dewayne (Darlene), Terry Smith of McCrory, AR and Tony Smith of DesArc, AR. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Texas County Hospice of Care.
