He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bunyan "Bill" and Bernice Scroggins Yerby; his siblings, Virginia Yerby Allman and Jerry Yerby; and his nephew Michael James Allman.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Yerby Rothwell (Rick), Lorie Yerby Shuler (Doug) and John Todd Yerby (Stacy); his grandchildren, Tyler Walston (Kaci), Anna Edmonds (Clint), Sara Rothwell, Jessy Bridges (Jordan), Ady Yerby and Emy Yerby; his great grandchildren, Theo and Oliver; and his brother Bill Yerby (Trigg) of Ada.
