She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank R. Portrey and Clellian M. Portrey; and her siblings, Dielda Lipscomb, Lois Nelson and Lester Portrey.
She is survived by: her husband Donald R. Hess; her children, Donna J. Hess and Stan D. Hess; her grandson Justin Michael Hess; her great grandchildren, Kylee Michelle and Peyton Marie; and her nieces and nephews, Lola Ice, Beverly Jones, Roy Lipscomb and Ed Lipscomb.
