He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Smith and Verdie Smith; and his siblings, Ray Smith and Dessie Beasley. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Barton (Smith) of Houston, James Smith of Houston and Earl Ray Smith (Lisa) of Houston; his wife Maggie; his sister-in-law Marie Stark of Houston; his sisters, Edna Roberts of Solo and Fern Burch (Vernon) of Kansas City, MO; his friends, Bill and Edna Beasley of Houston; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Barton), Tim Martin of Bolivar, MO, Sarah (Barton), Trevor Sudheimer of Houston, MO, Jamie Barton of Des Moines, IA, Bailey (Barton), Adrian Vivero of Springfield, MO, Lance Smith and Ebin Smith; his children, Erin Smith of Houston, MO, Raymond Smith of Seattle, WA, Mikayla (Smith) and Fred Robinson of Ft Sill, OK.; and his great grandchildren, Penny, Abby, Hank Martin, Amelia Vivero and Jayden Robinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
