He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Pauline Mitchell (Tilman) and Johnnie Mitchell; his brother Rickey Mitchell; and his nephews, Timmy, Jeremy, Shane and Joshua Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Mitchell (Hoon); his sons, John Mitchell (LeAnn) and Eric Mitchell (Amber) of Mountain Grove; his stepchildren, David Wise of Florida, Cole Lancaster of Mountain Grove, Dwight Lancaster (Mandy) of Mountain Grove, Wyatt Lancaster of Mountain Grove and Joyce Lancaster of Mountain Grove; and his sisters, Carolyn Graham (Billy) of Lyons and Kathryn Turner (Jerry) of Mountain Grove. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
