He is survived by: his sister Patsy; his former wife Nancy; his wife Deborah "Debby" Lee Gunter; and his children, Tamara Ann Smith (Floyd Smith), Tina Renee Grimes (Deborah Cupp), Cheri Marie Chesney (Russell Chesney), John Anthony Gunter (Kimberly Gunter), Shawn Marie Williams (Bruce Williams), Robert Kelly Theiss (Patricia Theiss) and Sarah Marie Theiss (Mike Condellire). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
