She was predeceased by: her husband Jim McLarty; her parents, Pete Droke and Bette Droke; and her brother Teddy Droke. She is survived by: her brothers, Steve Droke, Chris Droke and Stan Droke; her children, James McLarty and Angela Goldberg; her grandson Nathan McLarty; and also Penny.
She would spend her last dime donating to charities or purchasing 30 rolls of wrapping paper or boxes of Girl Scout cookies just to help out the local community.
