He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace H. Noakes and Mildred M. Noakes (Ringold). He is survived by: his sister Melba Bentley; and his nieces and nephews, Kimberly Connelly (Chris), Scott Bentley (Angie), Diana Stokes, Sarah Emery (Adam) and Karl Stokes (Tori). He is also survived by nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
