He was predeceased by: his parents, Galen F. Ulmer and Ola F. Ulmer (Eshelman); his wife Phyllis E. Melvin; and his sisters, Marjorie Orman and Dorothy Moss.
He is survived by: his children, Lois Nicholson (Norman) and Gary Ulmer (Nancy); his sister Beverly Connolly; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Whitaker (Brian), Joseph Nicholson (Angie), Devon Ulmer, Matthew Ulmer (Samantha) and Kristin Ulmer. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Social distancing and masking will be observed during the visitation.
