He is survived by: his wife Barbara Highland; his children, Darren Highland (Chrissy) of Middleburg, FL and Dana Bexten (Patrick); his grandchildren, Alexander Highland, Alysha Highland (Natalie), Trevor Highland, Travis Highland, Ryan Bexten, Cory Bexten, Tyler Bexten, Nicole Thomas (Benjamin), Megan Nally and Lelsie Smith-Pettit (Noah); his great grandchildren, Rory Thomas, Emmett Thomas, Riley Thomas, Waylon Smith-Pettit and Baby Smith-Pettit; and his sisters, Kathy Becker (Mark) of Athens, IL and Deena Kater of Marigate, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
