She was predeceased by: her father James Clinton Copen Sr.; her husband Bernard Hale; her granddaughter Sabbrina Ousley; her half-brother Dennis Newlin; and her stepbrother Harold Hoyle.
She is survived by: her pets, Honey, Buddy, Sweetie and Angel; her daughters, Jo "Jean" Jezylo (Ryan) of Fulton, Tanya Ousley (Dennis) of Springfield, MO and Trisha Alford (Lee) of Jefferson City; her grandchildren, Dustin D. Suggett (Haley), SammiJo Hale, Lori L. Slusser, Dennis J. Ousley Jr., Danny R. Alford, Stacia D. Barnard, Shellyann K. Avant (Bryan), Levi G. Barnard, Shelby L. Alford, Patrick E. Barnard and Cheyenne A. Ousley; her great grandchildren, Dawson, Kyson, Autumn, Haydin, Kylie, Peyton, Hailey, Ashton, Harper, Couper, Bryson, Zoey, Graysen and Lenox; and her siblings, Sharon Newlin of Louisville, KY and James Clinton Copen Jr. of Alton, IL..
