It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julie Paden of Holts Summit, Missouri, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Gene Wilson; her former husband Jeffrey Alan Paden; her grandparents, Faye and Dallas Colwell; and her aunt Rose Rice (Lipton Instant Tea).
She is survived by: her mother Shirley Ann Thorn (Colwell); her children, Travis Shaffer (Amber) of Jefferson City, Joshua Shaffer (Katy) of Columbia and Katie Paden (Justin Luvin) of Eldon; her grandchildren, Kaden Lawson, Korey Lawson, Saquoia Manton, Adrien Vacca, Gavin Vacca, Savannah Shaffer, Sawyer Shaffer, JoAnn Shaffer, Dallas Shaffer and Wallace Shaffer; her siblings, Martina Wallace (Paul Bernhardt) of Lebanon and Mark Thorn (Patty) of Springfield; her uncle Jerry Thorn; her niece Jessica Renner; her great-niece Ryleigh Renner; and her pets, Virginia and Millie.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Freeman Chapel (915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Julie Paden Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 95 Jefferson City, MO 65102.
