She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lehtinen and Winnie Lehtinen (Mikkonen); her sister Irene; and her brother-in-law Alfred Dentino. She is survived by: her husband Phillip Carter of Holts Summit; her daughters, Kathleen Carter and Jennifer McHenry (Scott) of Sedalia; her grandsons, Daniel Scurlock of Holts Summit, Shawn Irwin and Camron Irwin of North Pole, AK; her stepgrandson Joshua McHenry of Jefferson City; her granddaughter Audrey Irwin of North Pole, AK; and her nephews, Fred Dentino, Steve Dentino, Bob Dentino and Dave Dentino.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cornerstone Baptist Church.
