It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewayne Nelson Dawson of Holts Summit, Missouri, who passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dawson and Ida Mae Dawson (Robinson); his brothers, Clarence Dawson and James Dawson; and his son Timothy C. Dawson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jones; his daughters, Brenda McLaughlin (Austin) of Bowie, Tamera Walton of New Bloomfield and Amanda Booloodian (Michael) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Kelsey McLaughlin, Andrew McLaughlin, Krystal Crider and Riley Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Abriana Crider and Bardo Crider. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
