He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Murphy and Josephine Murphy (Bailey); his wife Sharon Murphy; his partner Kay Brewer of Holts Summit; and his siblings, Mary Murphy, Clinton Murphy, Virginia Murphy and Earl Leo Murphy.
He is survived by: his sisters, Truby Murphy of Winston-Salem, Eva Murphy of Atlanta and Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery - Fulton Fulton.
