She was predeceased by: her parents, Frankie McCollum and Sarah McCollum; her husband Donald Cockrum; her sister June Matheny; and her grandchildren, Brittney Stone and Chance Cockrum.
She is survived by: her sister Brenda Withrow (Chuck); her children, Frank Cockrum (Sandra), Carla Stone (Rick), Gayle Bye (Jeff) and Julie Groom; and her grandchildren, Brooke Laffey (Sean), Heather Autem (Alex), Lance Stone (Nichole), Courtney Wright (Barrett), Zachary Bye (Kristen), Ashley Sutton (Harry), Joshua Bye (Nikki), Seth Groom (Shelby McGuire), Ethan Groom, Trinity Groom and Cole Aikmus. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Waverly's honor can be made to the family to offset final expenses.
