He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sharon Moore, Mary Shipers, Georgia Shipers and Bobby Shipers. He is survived by: his spouse Sharon McNeal; his children, Oren Shipers of Holt, MO and Rebecca McGahey (Ryan); and his siblings, Dave Shipers, Glenetta Taylor, Karen Hardin, Della Rowell, Pat Young and Anna Knefaty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial contributions go to the Disabled American Veterans.
