Kem Alan Morgan Obituary
Kem Alan Morgan, 62, went home to Jesus on January 14, 2021.
Kem was born October 7, 1958 in West Plains, Missouri, to Jolly and Alene Morgan. Kem met his wife, Tammy, in 1976 and they married on December 3, 1977. They went on to have four sons; Justin, Joshua, Jonathan and James. Kem was a dedicated and loving husband and father. He delighted in spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, especially around a campfire or BBQ grill.
He had an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with others. As a member of Northern Hills Baptist Church, he was able to go on a mission trip to Honduras. While there, he was able to serve others by helping to finish build and stock a medical clinic as well as helping to facilitate a vacation bible school program for children.
Kem is preceded in death by his parents, Jolly and Alene Morgan; brothers, Jack and Bill Morgan; and nephew, Jeremy Steele.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy; children, Justin (Amy), Joshua (Caitlin), Jonathan (Kelsey) and James (Katelyn); sisters, Alice (Leo) and Sharon (Larry); brothers, Rob and Clarence; grandchildren, Cody (Sierra), Aprylle, Lexie, Cooper, Adalyn, Lilly, Layla and Violet; great-grandson, Tucker; and many nieces and nephews.
To honor Kem’s final wishes, the family has asked for donations to the Kem Morgan Memorial Fund at First Missouri Bank, 455 Sam Barr Dr. # 100, Kearney, MO 64060 to help with funeral expenses.
