He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Cockrum and Ona Cockrum (Brown); and his grandchildren, Brittney Stone and Chance Cockrum. He is survived by: his wife Waverly Cockrum; his sister Faye Schlomer; his children, Frank Cockrum (Sandra), Carla Stone (Rick), Gayle Bye (Jeff) and Julie Groom; and his grandchildren, Brooke Laffey (Sean), Heather Larkin, Lance Stone (Nicole), Courtney Wright (Barrett), Zachary Bye (Kristen), Ashley Sutton (Harry), Joshua Bye (Nikki), Seth Groom, Ethan Groom and Trinity Groom. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
