She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Perry and Winifred Perry; her spouse Dale Lynn Whitten, Sr.; and her siblings, Winifred Wood and Jerry Perry.

She is survived by: her son Dale Whitten, Jr. of Kansas City, MO; and her brothers, Larry Perry of Kansas City, MO and Ronald Perry of Shawnee Mission, KS. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
