He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob "Keith" Phillips and Mildren Phillips (Horstman); his wife Dixie Phillips; his sister Olive Jean Tarvell; and his sister-in-law Joyce Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Phillips (Rhonda) of Chanute, Todd Phillips (Karen) of Lee's Summit and Mirinda Frealy (Arthur) of Nixa, Missouri; his brother Howard Phillips of Mystic, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Darren, Samantha, Hannah, Cody, Ely, Autumn and Every. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
